PERLABOARD is the latest technology in plastic or PVC decking.

It is a co-extruded plastic composite decking that contains no wood.

Made from foamed PVC and Calcium Carbonate co-extruded with a tough double ASA resin layer to form a strong and robust decking board.

Our strategy is to provide customer choice. 

We offer a choice of PERLABOARD from six distinctive colours at this time – more colours becoming available soon.

We offer to deliver to your project a custom board length (up to 5.8 metres) at same cost per linear metre. Saves time for installation and less wastage. 

Custom orders have a lead-time of approximately 8 weeks from order to delivery.

HOW WE HELP

We arrange and deliver our decking directly to your project site.

You can choose your decking by getting FREE samples from us, which we send by express post.  This is the only way to really check the colour and feel of our products.

We can also provide budget pricing based upon rough dimensions of your deck.

For a firm quote, the right number of boards needs to be calculated. This is based upon board length, deck dimensions, proposed board layout, etc.. From your plan we can assess what board length is optimal for your project to reduce cutting and wastage.

We can order this custom length for your project but it takes approximately 8 weeks for delivery. If you plan ahead you get a create looking deck and save money. Overall a great value proposition !!

A PERLABOARD deck has a matt “unvarnished” look of untreated wood.

  • Unlike timber, your PERLABOARD deck will not fade or grey.
  • Unlike timber, no annual maintenance to restore or protect the deck is required; and
  • Unlike timber, there is no rotting, warping or termite attacks over time.
 
PERLABOARD plastic decking has a 15 year warranty but is expected to last longer, much longer than timber.

COMPOSITION

PERLABOARD PLASTIC DECKING CROSS SECTION

PERLABOARD is latest technology co-extruded plastic based decking which contains no wood. 

The co-extrusion capping is  Acyrlic Styrene Acrylonitrile ( ASA) thermoplastic coating ; 0.9mm thick polished to 0.6mm. This is bonded to the solid core through the manufacturing process. Dual colour technology together with moulding of grain profiles give the decking a really authentic imitation matt wood look.

The decking core is manufactured without wood, comprising roughly 40% foamed PVC and 50% Calcium Carbonate, a common building material. The remaining 10% comprises additives (non-toxic, non-invasive) including colourants, UV stabilisers, anti-oxidants, lubricants and binding agents.

The wood grain look is produced by a combination of a woodgrain profile on the surface of the core, together with a dual colour application for the double layer ASA cap.

INSTALLATION

We only supply decking, we do not install.

Composite decking is really easy to install avoiding potential foot hazards of raised screw by using a side clip system that doesn’t screw through the board.

Our “Invisi-Clip hidden fitting system is really easy and quick. 

For DECKER PROTECT we offer two types of clips:

  • Stainless steel clips, in polished or black . Fitted directly to the joist, sitting under the board, these clips give a consistent 2mm gap between boards. 
  • Plastic T clips, in black. Fitted directly to the joist, screwed between the boards, these clips give a consistent 6mm gap between boards.

MATCHING FASCIAS

Finish off your deck with a matching Fascia Board. – same colour and finish as decking boards. 

We have a square edged co-extruded solid board especially for fascias around your deck. Finishes off any deck, hiding board edges and ends and can even be extended downwards to screen the sub-structure of the deck, or upwards to form a privacy screen. Completes the outdoor living space both visually and aethetically. 

Available in 3.0m lengths, the PERLABOARD fascia boards are 150mm wide, 13mm thick. Designed to be face fixed with screws.
